Job Title: Software Tester – DoD Financial Systems - NJKCKAQATG Location: Fairfax, VA Duration: 1 year (with 3 year options) # of Openings: 2 Job Description: This is a fast-paced environment where testing activities are continuous. CMMi experience is desired, but actual operational procedures are still being worked out. The systems under test are used to report budget information, or maintain and correct budget information. Formalized testing is relatively new to this project, so initiative, experience, and documentation are essential. The ideal candidate will handle multiple tasks, and test various releases/upgrades within very short time frames. These positions require US Citizenship with a Current DoD Secret Clearance (interim OK). Specific Responsibilities & Required Skills: 4 years experience testing in a fast-paced, AD-HOC environment. You will be responsible for testing 1-2 minor releases weekly, and will work with limited or no requirements. You will create QA, test & evaluation strategy plans that you will then implement. You will write and execute test procedures, test cases, and scenarios for manual regression testing of a web-based financial management / budget system. You will perform end-to-end analysis of existing systems integrated together for US Army finance & budgeting estimations. You will install hardware and software in support of your testing efforts.
