JOB OPENING Junior Programmer/Analyst Position Number: JR 24814 Location: Fairfax, VA MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE PURPOSES CACI is an Equal Opportunity Employer Duties: CACI has an immediate opening for a Junior Programmer/Analyst to support software development efforts for a Navy customer. Duties and responsibilities: focus on providing software development, maintenance, and customer support for web-based software applications. A successful candidate will participate in the full life cycle of activities associated with developing enhancements to software applications. This includes requirements definition; software component design, development, testing, and implementation; documentation; training; and customer support. In addition to software development, a successful candidate will perform database design, and work with business intelligence, reporting, and charting tools. Occasional travel of short duration may be required. Required Qualifications: A successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, (or equivalent degree or work experience); and one to two years of web-based software development, programming, or database experience. The ideal candidate will have experience defining or interpreting functional requirements for the development/modification of web-based, data driven applications; experience developing code for web applications; and knowledge of structured query language (SQL) and relational databases. The ideal candidate must be able to quickly understand the functional side of web-based applications and be able to provide training and customer service activities to the user base. Required Programming Languages and Technologies: HTML, Structured Query Language (SQL) Required Database Software: Relational database management systems (Microsoft Access or Microsoft SQL Server) Required Software: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Windows operating systems Desired Qualifications: In addition to the qualifications described above, the most desirable candidate would have experience with one or more of the following: ColdFusion Markup Language (CFML), Active Server Pages (ASP/ASP.NET), JavaScript, Crystal Reports, Report Definition Language (RDL), and data modeling/database design.
